Conference Terms & Conditions

ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE OF THE CONFERENCE:

  • Payable by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, EFT, Company Check or Government Purchase Order. All funds must be in US Dollars.

  •  If the funds have not been paid and verified, the attendee does not have a confirmed registration for the Conference.

  • If space is available, on site registrations at the Conference will be allowed at the full registration fee.

  • If a student needs an invoice, they must email assistant@cpicforum.org and request one. Any invoice requests thirty days or fewer before the conference will be subject to the $100 processing fee due to the likelihood that payment will not arrive by conference date.

  • There is a $100 processing fee per student/attendee, per SF-182, that must be processed, completed, invoiced or remains open post-event.

CANCELLATION POLICY/FORCE MAJEURE/SUBSTITUTION POLICIES:

  • No refunds will be given for cancellations on or after March 1st, 2017.

  • Cancellations prior to March 1, 2017, will be subject to a $125 processing fee, per person.

  • No-shows are liable for the entire registration fee.

  • Certain acts of government or authority, ranging from closures due to continuing resolution and/or delays or shutdowns due to inclement weather, or other unsafe conditions are recognized as the criteria of beyond Federal CPIC Forum and/or their management vendor's control, making it impossible, illegal, or commercially impractical to perform its obligations under this agreement. In the rare occasion, when Federal CPIC Forum cancels an event, our liability is strictly limited. In those instances, reimbursement is limited to paid tuition only, less any processing fees required by merchants that are imposed by a third party, and any requested reimbursement is subject to approval by the Federal CPIC Forum Executive Board, Director, or the Administration of the event management vendor.

  • Delays and/or Postponements of events, will be assessed on a case by case basis, though, no financial liability is to be placed on Federal CPIC Forum and its management vendor(s) for those circumstances.

  • ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE AFTER 10/15/16. 4:00PM, EST.

 

SUBSTITUTION POLICY:

  • You may designate a substitute, in writing, until March 1st, 2017, so long as that written notice receives a confirmation from conference or event staff in writing.

  • All substitutions prior to March 1st, 2017 are subject to a $125 processing fee.

  • If a substitution request is received after March 1st, 2017, for a registration that has not been paid in full, the full price registration fee plus the processing fee of $125 will be due and payable, and, if a substitution arrives after the badge has been picked up at the conference or event, there will be a full attendee charge assessed. This applies to attendees and vendors/sponsors.

  • DAY-OF/ONSITE REGISTRATION at the conference will be the full tuition rate and may be paid with a credit card, check or cash. Purchase orders or 182 forms brought to the conference are subject to a $100 processing fee.

  • Failure to pay a past due conference registration will prevent an attendee from attending any future events until the unpaid tuition balance is paid in full of any penalty fees or interest assessed.

 

CUSTOMIZED CLP ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES:

  • Certificates are now included in the tuition payment and not sold separately.

  • Attendance in full both days of the conference must be verified by the registration staff to be eligible for the Certificate.

  • Should a student not complete the full two days, for any reason, the certificate issuance is not required by the Forum administrator.

  • Conference Survey completion is mandatory for training completion requirements. If a conference survey cannot be confirmed as having been completed, the training requirement is considered incomplete.

  • A Certificate may be printed or electronically mailed as per the instructions completed within the survey.

 

NO SWAPPING, SHARING OR EXCHANGING REGISTRATION OR EXHIBITOR BADGES.

Any activity where registration or exhibitor badges have been determined by the conference staff to have been swapped, shared or exchanged inappropriately, or in violation of registration and sponsorship agreements, will result in conference expulsion of unregistered attendees. Such altering shall result in the registrant or sponsor purchasing additional badges for attendees at the full retail conference registration amount, as well as a $125 processing fee. Further, such altering may result in the expulsion from the Federal CPIC Forum for members violating their Code of Ethics or removal of a Capital Planning Professional Certification for violating the Code of Ethics. A Forum representative may remove any violation of swapping or exchanging badges at any time with the assistance of hotel security.

 

PRESS POLICY: There are absolutely no complimentary press passes. Press must pay full conference rate.

 

PHOTO RELEASE: Your registration and/or sponsorship is consent to Federal CPIC Forum that any photographs taken at the conference by the Federal CPIC Forum or its vendors are the property of Federal CPIC Forum and available for Federal CPIC Forum to use for advertisements and promotions in print or electronically, as well as. publish in webinars and use for advertising and marketing or educational or research purposes.

 

RAFFLE POLICY: The Forum Executive Board voted in June of 2015 to reduce the total value of each donated raffle item. Any individual raffle item may not exceed twenty dollars ($20) in keeping with Ethics Rules applicable to government employees.
